The Controversy of God

A message from the series “Work of the People (Epiphany): Epiphany”, given by Pastor Scott Austin on Jan. 29, 2023.

The prophet Micah speaks with eloquence about a “controversy” between the people and God. They want to focus on proper worship, while God wants them to focus on justice and mercy. In his own time, Jesus points the people back to these themes at the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount.
