Taking Jesus

A message from the series “Signs of Faith, Part Four: Experiencing John’s Gospel”, given by Pastor Scott Austin on June 9, 2013.

Twice in this story (which contains the fifth “sign of faith,”) John tells us that Jesus’ disciples try to “take him” but are unable to do so. Apparently, then, it is possible to pursue Jesus without being in accord with his will. This story may hold some clues about how we can reconcile this paradox of faith.
