Our Next Decade: Awe

Reaffirming our foundational values
Aug. 9, 2015 – Aug. 23, 2015

As we look ahead to our second decade as a church, we recognize that we also need to look back: to the foundational values God placed on our hearts when our church was planted. In this series, we examine the value of Awe, seeking to understand what it means, how we have lived it out so far, and how we can live it out in Our Next Decade.

Message line-up:

Awe: an Overview
Pastor Scott Austin

This value calls us to embrace mystery and offer a holy respect to God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, who is “worthy of our worship and full devotion”.

Hebrews 12:18-29
Awe in Practice: Immersed
Directed by Autumn Gallegos-Greenwich

One of the ways Artisan Church has historically practiced our value of Awe is through our signature Immersed services. Interactive, non-linear, and self-directed, these services help us engage with the mysteries of the divine.

Awe in Acts
Pastor Scott Austin

As we look ahead to how we can practice Awe in our second decade, we look to the story of the early church as told in the book of Acts as an example.
