Destroy Your Temple, and Raise it Up Again

Jesus's ministry upset many people, especially those who were deeply invested in the religious and economic status quo. When they challenged him, he predicted his own death—and foreshadowed the destruction of the temple. Would we be willing to tear down our own temples if we knew we could raise them up to something new?
