Day of Pentecost

A message from the series “Eastertide 2020: A Lectionary Series”, given by Pastor Scott Austin on May 31, 2020.

We celebrate the Day of Pentecost, remembering the multi-lingual and egalitarian way that the Holy Spirit broke through to the world through the gathered assembly of Christians. We also pause to mourn and reflect on racial injustice in our country, and to consider how we might become change agents in our culture.
