Building Bridges

Working for local justice
July 17, 2011 – July 24, 2011

One of Artisan’s core biblical values is justice: seeking to bring compassion to the needs of hurting people—and a just end to their underlying causes. We’ve worked for justice in developing communities overseas, but what about the needs of people right here in Rochester? This short series explores how we can work for local justice.

Message line-up:

7/17
Local Justice: Why?
Pastor Scott Austin
Listen

We’ll first look at the biblical mandate for justice and then turn to the example of Jesus, whose incarnation was about as “local” a phenomenon as you could imagine!

7/24
Local Justice: How?
Anna Valeria-Iseman, Leadership Team member
Listen

Anna Valeria-Iseman will share a great, practical message detailing the specifics of Artisan’s coming partnership with The Bridge, her community outreach group.
