Ancient Paths, New Shoes

Exploring Artisan’s Values
Nov. 11, 2012 – Nov. 25, 2012

A summary of the values that give us direction. The natural response to our “My Faith Won’t Fit” series, this series talks about how we do define our faith: not by politics or doctrine, but by the mission, vision, and values that God called us to when we were founded eight years ago.

Message line-up:

Mission Statement, Image Statement
Pastor Scott Austin

Artisan Church’s Mission is to be a vibrant church community where we: encounter God, embrace people, and engage culture in the Way of Jesus. We also use an “image statement” that offers a visual representation of who we’re called to be: Ancient paths, new shoes, journey together.

Values: Beauty and Roots
Pastor Scott Austin

We’ll discuss two of our biblical values: beauty and roots. (Note that our first value of awe was covered in the final week of the “My Faith Won’t Fit” series.)

Values: Community and Justice
Pastor Scott Austin

We’ll discuss two more of our biblical values: community and justice.
