Family Promise Support Month

For the month of June we will be highlighting our partner organization Family Promise of Greater Rochester and ways we can support them.

June 26th - Night without a bed.

This event is a social media challenge to raise awareness about the issue of family homelessness and fundraiser. We invite you to spend the night of June 26th sleeping anywhere without a bed, like in your car, in a tent, or on the living room floor. Take a photo of yourself and your family and share it on social media using the #NightWithoutaBed and #fpgroc hashtags. Visit this site to register as an individual or family, or on behalf of your congregation. June 27th - July 4th - Family Promise of Greater Rochester Rotation

Volunteer to assist during our Family Promise of Greater Rochester (formerly RAIHN) rotation. Sign up to help here. If you have any questions, contact justice@artisanchurch.com.

FPGROC has added 2 new apartments to house families. Due to the spread out nature of the apartments, Family Promise has requested we return to dropping off a weekly food supply for the families in lieu of the cooked meals. Drop off for the food will be Sunday 6/27 between 2:00PM and 4:00PM at New Hope FMC, 62 Union Street, Rochester, NY, 14607.

Another way to support the guests at Family Promise is to donate something from their wishlist.
