Neighborhood Matters

Be More Together
Oct. 11, 2009 – Nov. 1, 2009

Our neighborhoods matter to God, and therefore us. We’ll start by rolling up our sleeves and serving. Then we’ll spend the remaining weeks exploring those “kingdom of God” intersections of deep biblical truths and beautiful neighborhood strengths.

Message line-up:

10/11
Neighboorhood Service Projects
Everyone! (Artisan Church & Friends)

We’re taking it to the streets! No, there won’t be yelling, sign waving, or handing out literature… Just serving our neighborhoods. Period. Together, we’ll directly help individual neighbors, local businesses, and area non-profits.

  • Time & Place: Show up at the Artisan building, on time, at either 9a, 11a, or 5pm. Plan to be here for 90 minutes, start to finish.
  • Serving Sites: Walking distance to 5-minute drive. Painting, minor repairs, winterizing, fall garden prep, clean up, and more.
  • What to Bring: Yourself (seriously, this is not the Sunday to skip :-) A Friend (probably more impact than inviting to a ‘regular’ worship service). Grubby clothes to really worship in!
