Artisan Pastoral Staff

Scott Austin

Scott is one of Artisan’s founding pastors and has been known to say he couldn’t imagine being a pastor anywhere else. He graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1999 with a degree in contemporary ministries and music and earned his Master of Divinity degree from Northeastern Seminary in 2005. In 2013, Scott was ordained to word and sacrament by our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church. In his free time, Scott enjoys sports, the outdoors, and music, especially anything related to guitar. His greatest joy in life is his family; he and his wife, Tracey, have two active and amusing boys.

“The biblical fact is that there are no successful churches. There are, instead, communities of sinners…. In these communities of sinners, one of the sinners is called pastor and given a designated responsibility in the community. The pastor’s responsibility is to keep the community attentive to God.”

Jessie Brajcki

Children’s Pastor

Jessie is Artisan’s children’s pastor. She graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2008 with a degree in contemporary ministries with a youth and family focus. Jessie loves spending time with kids (perhaps more than adults) and she and her wonderful husband, Dave, have three of their own – a spunky five-year-old girl, a three-year old boy, and a brand new baby girl!

Jessie can usually be found covered in finger paint or chasing her toddler around the Strong Museum of Play with a few Artisan mommy friends. She is so glad to have this church community and feels blessed to get to be a part of Artisan families’ lives!
