 Children are a blessing and we welcome them into the full life of our church. For this reason we invite the entire family to experience worship together. Children remain with their parents or parent designee throughout our time together.
Encourage your child to participate however he or she can:
- “We've come to worship God.”
- “Can you clap with me?”
- “That person is reading the Bible.”
- “This is the time when we share Jesus’ special meal.”
Ways to Experience Worship with Your Children
- Children of any age may worship with us in the sanctuary!
- Family Workbooks are available for you to use with your child during worship or at home.
- Family Worship Area & Activity Tables:
These large tables at the back of the auditorium are a great space for you and your children to worship, move around, play, and create! Feel free to clap, dance, or use the instruments provided during music times. During the message time the kids often help us with an activity or story, and then they work on their own activities that help make the bible stories come alive and connect with their young lives.
Questions During Worship?
- All our Staff and Children's Volunteers have completed a background check and screening process and are ready to assist you with hands-on help or to answer any questions.
- We hope our time together at Artisan Church is meaningful and encouraging for you and your whole family!
Older Kids & Teens:
- Our guiding principle is to place the highest value on including people, whatever their age. So you’ll find students of all ages participating in the artistry, music, scripture reading, set-up, tear-down, and eating together afterwards!
- If you’re a parent, you’re invited not only to include your sons and daughters and their friends in whatever you’re doing, but to point them toward opportunities to use the wonderful gifts, talents and resources God has blessed them with. We’re here to help, so just ask!
- If you’re a student yourself (probably Jr. & Sr. High if you’re reading this), step-up, get involved, introduce yourself -- we promise to treat you like a real person :-)
