“Bring to Me all humankind, especially all sinners… all devout and faithful souls… those who do not believe in God, and those who do not yet know Me… and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.”

Creating a Place of Welcome |
Inviting people to explore Artisan Church |
|
Andrew brought his brother Simon Peter, Philip urged his brother Nathaniel to “come and see”, Matthew threw a huge party where his friends could meet Jesus, and the Samaritan woman at the well, herself still unsure, invited an entire village with the provocative question “could this be the Messiah?”
The power of personal invitation is just as real today. Over 80% of people visiting a church community say it’s because a friend or family member personally invited them. So, in using the resources below, remember that nothing replaces the personal touch.

When it comes to checking something out, nothing compares to word-of-mouth. The testimony of a trusted friend or respected acquaintance is often the #1 reason for trying something new.

Google Search Rankings (and other search engines)

|
You can easily help increase Artisan Church’s search engine rankings and make it easier for people to find us on the internet! Here’s how:
- Web presence: Use your personal or organization’s webpage, website, blog, online forum or message board
- Create link: link to the Artisan Church site with
- Include Keywords - this is very important. Just a link to ‘Artisan Church’ doesn’t help as much. If you have a link with just ‘Artisan Church’, please consider fleshing it out
- Good Examples: “Artisan Church - a new Rochester church.” OR “Artisan Church, Rochester NY”
- Inclusion on a topically related page (e.g. “church listings,” “rochester events”) is even better.
- Links on the front page of a website have more influence on rankings (important if you’re using a blog that “rolls” things off the front page).
- Dress it up: feel free to include more description or personal comments surrounding the link so that when people see your link they can know what it’s all about.

This is working great!
‘rochester church’ is now #2 on the first page! (as of Summer 2006). Keep up the great work, we’re almost to #1.
Please format your links for greatest impact by including keywords such as ‘rochester’ and ‘church’ within the link.
Thanks for the help!
