Jason is husband to Lisa, and dad to Jaron and Bryn. They live in the Neighborhood of the Arts in Rochester, NY. He completed his M.Div. degree at Northeastern Seminary (2003), and has a B.A. in Religion & Youth Ministry from Eastern Nazarene College (1992).

Past pastoral experience includes Youth & Young Adult Pastor, Church Planter/Lead Pastor, and Pastor of Media & Young Adults at CrossBridge Community Church.  He most recently helped lead the wonderful Capax Dei ministry and church planting team that’s joined with the Quest team to launch Artisan Church.

Brian joins us by way of the equally wonderful Quest church planting team that joined together with Capax Dei to form Artisan Church. He and his wife Rebecca have two great kids, Caleb and his baby sister, Ariel.

He's also a graduate of Northeastern Seminary (2003) following a B.S. in Molecular Genetics from SUNY Fredonia (1995). Past pastoral experience includes the Ammi Christian Fellowship (a young adult ministry) and Pastor of Adult Education & Singles Pastor at Browncroft Community Church.

Scott Austin, Artisan Pastoral Team

Scott serves in a number of roles at Artisan, including preaching, leading spiritual formation groups, and teaching our membership course. He also leads worship as the guitarist and singer for Saint Brigid's Lake, one of Artisan's bands.

Scott holds a Master of Divinity degree from Northeastern Seminary (2005) and a bachelor's degree in Contemporary Ministries from Roberts Wesleyan College (1999). From 1999-2001, he served as a founding associate pastor of Las Vegas Community of Christ. Scott and his wife Tracey have a three-year old son, Abel. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and pursuing good electric guitar tone.

Mike Muscarella, Artisan Pastoral Team

Mike leads all things musical, facilitating the music portion of our worship gatherings as we pursue authentic worship. He also provides leadership with the growing artist community at Artisan. Mike holds a Master of Divinity degree from Northeastern Seminary (2005), a bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Hartwick College (1999), along with minors in music performance and sound recording from Hartwick and Finger Lakes Community College.
