Ex-offender Mentorship Program Training

September 24th and 25th, 5:00pm to 9:00pm

As part of our ongoing work to help us become more educated and active in fighting the injustice of mass incarceration, the Artisan Social Justice Team is offering us the opportunity to to mentor (visit) inmates at the Monroe County Jail through the Judicial Process Commission. This program is designed with friendship building in mind and there is no need for experience to sign up.

The commitment is one hour per week and with some built in flexibility. It entails visiting with the same inmate weekly for a year. Training will be held Monday, September 24th and Tuesday September 25th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm (both nights are required) at the Friends Meeting House, 84 Scio Street. Dinner is included. Parking is behind the building or in the East End Garage. Email to register. Contact for more information.
